Core-Asset Consulting Gains Cyber Essentials Scheme Accreditation
Leading financial and professional services recruitment company Core-Asset Consulting has been recognised for the security and protection of its systems and data under the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme.
The scheme is designed to help protect UK businesses by preventing the most prevalent forms of cyber-attacks and to make the UK a safer place to do business online.
The Cyber Essentials scheme addresses the most common Internet-based threats to cyber security. It helps organisations to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data stored on devices which connect to the Internet.
Commenting on the accreditation, Betsy Williamson, Managing Director of Core-Asset Consulting, said:
“As a recruitment and vetting business the security and protection of candidates’ and clients’ data is paramount.
“The Cyber Essentials Scheme accreditation should reassure people that we take cyber security extremely seriously and have robust systems and processes in place to protect us from an attack.
In March 2018 Core-Asset Consulting announced that it has been awarded ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 accreditation following an independent review from the British Assessment Bureau.
ISO 27001 is the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It provides security controls and processes to safeguard customers' information, data and other intellectual property assets.
ISO 22301 is the international standard for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS). It is designed to protect businesses from potential disruption
due to unforeseen incidents including extreme weather, fire, flood, natural disaster, theft, IT outage, staff illness or terrorist attacks.
